We fine writers and contributors at The Journal of Idiocracy have exactly two goals in life: (1) get rich and (2) do so quickly. By donating money to The Journal, you contribute greatly to reducing the likelihood that writers will have to go out into the world of work and get "real jobs." Let face it, real jobs are sort of a hassle, and we'd rather not be hassled. So give us some of your money - even a penny would help!
On a more serious note, this blog takes a great deal of time and effort to produce. Although we do not produce original news, we do work very hard at providing content which is supportable, reliable and well sourced.
In the world of modern technology, finding reliable and accurate information can be a difficult task. And lets face it - most people do not have the time to research the reliability and credibility of every single thing they read. At The Journal, we do the work for you. Each post is written with the explicit intent to produce material which would satisfy the research requirements present in graduate courses around the country (this is sort of easy, as the editor is actually a graduate student). These are methods of scholarship you can rely on. And of course, we provide you with all the references, just in case you're not satisfied.
